Why do I see this unit being sketchy if you had ingested a heavy water or two first Envisioning continual dismounting/take a look. Re-mount. Move 4 feet! Hmmm. Now where was I ???? Kidding of coarse! Please take no offense. Just struck me funny for some reason......
Heavy water? I think if that was my choice of beverage I have larger issues than my forklifts ease of egress...which BTW is about like mounting a motorcycle. Not the way I would have made it, but it works and the price was right.
I bet it is handy. One of those units that would just take some getting used to. Far quicker than the wife and I hauling it up in armloads.
TurboDiesel I have one of those carts about two years now and have not had no problem with it. I never throw Wood into it and I am careful with it in the cold. I just went out and looked at my cart- it doesn't say Brinley it says Allfit HD. I think it's the same exact cart I have to tell you that the plastic tub is easily repaired with the heat gun and some black poly sprinkler pipe. You basically put a cone on the Nozzle of the heat gun To concentrate the heat a small area. cut the sprinkler pipe into 1 inch wide strip and apply it over the cracks on both sides if possible. it melts everything together and is as good as new. I've done this to repair a couple of those poly preformed ponds. I did this last summer to the pond and it wintered over fine and still has no leaks in the entire bottom and sides had cracks all over it . Basically this is welding plastic. I search YouTube and actually found a guy welding up corrugated drain pipe for a culvert , it was around 18 inches in diameter. He welded and angle on to the end of a full section . If you want I can take some pictures and I had them just let me know. Very interesting how you can simply weld it by melting plastic
That truck in the pic is basically the same one I have. That's a GMC I think though. But that's a 1980 model I can tell from the square headlight and single rectangle parking light under it. That's the only year they were set up like that. They had shoulder belts In that truck. Mine does. Or maybe it's cause mine is the top oF the line silverado???!! Haha
Yes very interesting. Im familiar with fusing HDPE pipe. Its incredibly durable! Not exactly sure what those plastic tubs are made of, but its a shame they dont use thicker material !
The wife wanted a smaller lightweight trailer to pull behind the ATV and lawn tractor at the cottage. She didn't like driving the old Massey 22 and frankentrailer I just ordered one of these 18 cu ft, 1000lb poly dump trailer on sale from TSC. Should come in pretty handy.
That looks like a good one, nice wide tires. What exact model is it? We have only one tsc in our area, and it's a haul for me, but if the deal is right....
Horkn I'm not sure which cart he has, we have an Ohio Steel cart from TSC and it can be used on a ball hitch as well as pin. It has articulating dump capability as well. Might be more expensive? But it's been a workhorse here, just another to consider.
Not 100% sure of the make. Our TSC is pretty vague on the make. However they are likely made in China and go by many names. This is the TSC link. I got it on sale for $299 CART DUMP 1000LB POLY This is the same trailer from Australia that gives a good description: 1000lbs Towed Poly Dump Cart | Shop Plant Craft Dump Carts It may also go as Master Rancher 1000 lb Poly Cart.
Those are nice but not available to us. Very similar style. Your poly looks tougher but a little smaller.
Cabelas has a few yard carts that when 5hey put them on sale are a pretty good deal if I remember right.
I have only had this one for a few months but it dumps nice and swivels. One of the guys said yoy have to be careful in the winter with poly cuz it can crack. I really like the clearance it has too, i live in the granite state so the clearance is needed. Very happy with the clearance on both the new atv and trailer. We’ll see how the trailer holds up cuz my property is definitely a good test. I cross the river with it and have cleared some good boulders on the trail. TSC $299
