After a year of dirty smoky Barefoot Pellets, I am trying a hardwood/softwood blend, Easy Blaze Pellets. I have lit the stove a couple of times with them, and I think I'll be very happy. I don't get the smoky startup, ( which was staining my house ), and I don't get a firepot full of black clinks when done. Good bye and good riddance, Barefoot! Hello Easy Blaze!

I'd be surprised if you didn't really like those!

I posted something at the beginning of last season about Barefoot.. they were very dark. Maybe just a bad batch. But I am rethinking the hardwood pellets. Maybe a blend is the way to go. So far so good.

Easy blaze one of my favorites  I also had issues with Barefoot's not as good as they were in years past
