I was just joking but actually right now I don't have room until I get all this oak split and stacked.
I will keep that in mind though

It’s hard to beat a 7.3 power stroke. I have a 99 at 230000 it’s still as strong and dependable as ever. Congratulations!

I love the reliability of the 7.3 Powerstroke, and it just reminds me of when I was young too! Ive been in and out of 7.3's since they were non turbo 1993's

Though, I am quite jealous of the power and lack of racket that you get with the new 6.7's. But theres no way I would ever pay the money they command for a completely unreliable product thanks to the EPA.

Yep, no argument there, 7.3 makes enough power for what I need, & no DEF etc. Runs when I want to, no catalyst regen at the wrong time etc. No pmt is the big thing, I just can't make myself spend more on a truck than I did my house.:hair:

Up here in Nova Scotia you're hard pressed to find a 90's anything on the road .
Very common to see 8 yr old vehicles being crushed .
We had a BlueStreak sales rep from Texas in a couple of weeks ago , he couldn't believe how young the average age of the vehicles are around here .
I've been told by Ford and Chev factory reps that we are the capitol for the highest failure rate and have some failures not seen anywhere else .
Undercoating keeps them on the road up here a little longer but is not a cure all but it sure helps .
From being under rusty cars for more than 30 years I can tell you to spray once a year in the spring after the last freeze .
If you have a buildup of undercoat and dirt , pressure wash or scrape it off every few years , you'd be amazed how little time it takes a blister of trapped humidity or water to rot a frame or unibody .
My last 94 has long been crushed , i miss it .

12K on the trailer, although I try & keep the gross around 10K. I've had her loaded to the gills with Red Oak logs a few times & I was pushing the max. She dumped it no problem, but I'm in the don't abuse the equipment camp. I can make an extra trip cheaper than fixing stuff.

I hear ya on the rust. I'm a shop owner & tech as well. Rust ruins more cars than mechanical failure here too. I don't understand why they can't use sand instead. Seems to work in other places just fine.
