Used my scrapping metal money to get a new grill, will be scrapping the old grill and the fuel oil barrel I was planning to make grill with.

Keep your eyes open. It all adds up and fast. We used to live in a more urban area and would walk around everyday and find cans, copper, steel plus money at times. Plus when I ran heavy equipment I would use scrap to supplement my income.

Those are great! I was looking at them at Sears. I really like the fact that you can change the height of the coals. You will really enjoy that!!!

Hey hey now look at this baby! Now you have me second guessing this whole weber idea all together! I was set on Cabela's since I have $300 of free points. Saw this one that looks similar, thinking about going after it. But $119 at K-Mart isnt bad, was that the final price or was it 40% off that. I love that you can adjust the height, and and it has a large cooking area. I could easily make a baffle for it I wanted, working with 90* angles would be easier than the curved profile of the webers. The one I see on cabelas has a propane assisted ignition, does that K-mart one have that? Not a deal breaker for me but it is nice.

Thanks for showing me this, don't know why I had blinders on with the weber.

I got it and a nice covet for about $80. No propane igniter-- would be a waste for me.

Nice one Adam! Can't wait to drool over what you crank out of that baby. Looks like it's got cast iron grates?

Yes sir it does! Hoping for another bit of warm weather so I can get the chance to use it. Been working like a slave and now things are finally slowing down enough that I can enjoy it,

I may have to take a stroll through K-Mart this weekend, if all the outdoor stuff isn't put away already.

Stopped at sears and K-Mart, no charcoals at K-Mart, Sears had the exact grill you got for $135. I was tempted but glad I waited, the one I was looking at at Cabelas is on sale now for $179 and I have all those free points. Its exactly like yours except it has that propane assist lighting mechanism. I know its double what you paid but its not going to cost me anything but points so I'll probably go that route.
