    climbwd up a tree at 4:15 yesterday afternoon and he was dead at 4:50.

    He was definitely a nice one, not sure of the weight. I skinned him myself and didn't have acces to scales. I did not shoulder mount him, I decided to do a European mount instead

    Figured as much since you got it cleaned up so quickly. Do you seal it with anything or just leave it be?

    I'll let it air out for a week or so and then spray it with Kilz primer

    I do my euros the same way, except i bury them for 6 months or so and then spray em.

    Nice job on the clean up. My son works for the state as a biologist and they have a tank of bugs they use to clean animals to study. They work great on deer skulls.
