Thank you to all who served and made the ultimate sacrifice. Still burning away here in the NorthEast........48 out 72 in.
Going on my third night without a fire Tomorrow doesn't look promising After that is off to the far north woods for some walleyes
Stove was on most mornings to get the chill out. But off in the warmer evenings. Only used a bag of pellets last week and 4 so far for May. Enjoying the coolness before the heat zonks us......... 52ºF this AM. Hoping this is the last week of burning, But will keep it on stand by until mid June JIC.
4.5 bags for May. sometimes I've got to induce a fire with the ice cubes, but it's nice to get the chill out. keeps Kathryn happy! as they say, happy wife - happy life!
Still burning here. Burn for comfort, not calandar. Of course we like to be not burning, and able to save our pellets. This year, the weather is not cooperation. Unseasonable cool May. Garden is going in, but not sure about how fast things will grow in these conditions.
Chilly and dank here tonight. Stove fired a few ago. Rain pretty much ruined Monday. No picnics or an outside no roasted either. Kalbosa and salads tonight and brews too.......... Sammy Summer Ale.
More off than on now that we are getting sun. As long as we close the windows before bed, No stove needed in the AM....... Different kind of sn*w flyin about. Dogwoods be shedding their fuzzie's all over da place.
A whopping 46ºF this AM........ Supposed to be a dandy day though!! Hoping to pull da plug this weekend.
