Lowes new pellet

I'll try to stop by tomorrow. They're right up the street from me.

 

I stopped by Lowes this afternoon. None of their pellets were out for me to see, but I did see tons of what I think are pellets in their back yard. Problem is that access to that area wasn't available to me. They were moving things around in that area with a lift at that time. Usually can't go there unless loading up something and directed to do so. The bags I saw had a clear big bag over the pallets and the bags were light tan in color, but that is all I could tell.

 

Nope. I did go out back, dodging a couple of exiting trucks as I did. The tan wrapped pallets Larry saw were Maine Choice. They had between 2 and 3 truckloads of those. They also had 13 tons of Greene Team there as well. Usual suspects. Nothing new to be seen. I went in the store as well but nothing on the floor. I talked to a clerk who didn't know when they would be getting any pellets inlet alone what flavor.

 

Do you think they would sell MWP and Maine Choice at the same store?

In our town (Torrington), the 3 flavors at the Lowes are the Green Team, Power Pellets, and the new one here is bagged as "Green Supreme".
Not sure about the store locations to the north of us, but would imagine that product on the east coast would be the same stocking items.

Yeah, they could just bag the Maine's Choice as PTL's or whatever. Although I'm not sure if any type of PTL's comes out of the Lig mill up that way.

 

I see no reason why they wouldnt sell both. As J said its just "things and stuff" to them.

If I remember, I will stop by Lowes today and see if they have new to them pellet. Big issue is remembering to stop
