Updated the other day, and now typing is back to doing weird things like it was a year or so ago. Like trying to go back and correct a spelling error, and then whole words getting moved around, and words that were I already backspace thru showing up somewhere else.

I don't think it has anything to do with the forum. This just started happening after I updated chrome Thursday afternoon, I get the same thing on a couple of other forums that use xenforo.

Funny thing is that I just typed all this, and went back and corrected several errors, with no issue.

    Could just be my phone?

Have you restarted the phone since the update? It'll be tomorrow before I get to WiFi so I can update.

I had the same issue-- Chrome hated the Droid 4.

    Yeah. No change.

It seems to be worse if I'm trying to type something fast, making mistakes and quickly trying to fix them. Not as bad if I take my time. I still make mistakes, but if I slow down, I have no trouble fixing them.

Just kinda ticked off that it was fine until I accepted the update. I never should have, as I had nothing that needed fixed. The only positive change I have noted is that pulling all the way down refreshes the page.

If things haven't changed since I stopped using android, if you go to where you manage your programs you should be able to roll back to previous version.

I haven't tried this time, but it seems like I had the same issue with dolphin. I uninstalled it, but I should try it again.

Whoa. That went way back . Not the previous version, but the the one that came with the phone, which I had no complaints with. I'll try for a while and sees how it goes.

I have had numerous problems with Chrome on an Android device. It is always lagging behind for me. I can type a full sentence and it's always several words behind me. I quit using it all together. I just use the standard browser on my phone.

Chrome is the stock browser on my phone. And so far it's been good. Still have dolphin just in case.

Went back to the previous version, and it's been fine.

With big screens and fast LTE, I've gotten away from tapatalk. I haven't even installed it on this phone, and would rather not.

I don't use Tapatalk. I've never seen a need to.

It worked a lot better for my crappy sprint service here at home. Since it went totally to the toilet after system upgrades , I switched to Verizon, which is crazy fast here. It was much easier using tapatalk with marginal data service.

And since screens have gotten bigger and sharper, my old eyes can utilize the desktop versions of most all websites. In fact, I hate any mobile themes.
