Here's my last Traeger smoke before I return this to Abq, NM. This is a 12lb pork butt that I started last night at 2340 hrs. I started the butt on the smoke setting and 6 hrs later it was only showing 90 degrees. At 0900 I wrapped it in foil and turned it up to 225 degrees, it then cooked for 7 hrs before hitting 197 degrees. It will sit for an hour and looks good.
Man that food looks fantabulous! Looking forward to smoking on my Akorn when my PartyQ comes in this week! This should be a game changer!
