I have a older jred with a Pro Tec cleaner! The pro tec is super cool and I don't want to break it while I'm out cutting. I also assuming that if I did accidentally break it it would be damm near impossible to replace!? So my question is do they make a k&n that would fit on the velocity stack and replace the plastic Pro Tec housing?

I have 3 of the Jreds 670's but none have that type of filter setup. I think I would try and google the dimensions of the filter and see if you could find something that way or try some other forums and
eventually run into someone with the same setup if no one here answers.

Yah, all you need is the OD of the v-stack and you should be able to find something that will work.

Yup I'm going to measure the v stack and google the hell out of it! I'm kinda assuming that the v stack is somewhat generic. It makes me so nervous that I'm going to break that filter ever time I take her out to cut some wood. I have a few saws but I really love that jred and feel super lucky to have acquired it!
