Thanks everybody! -Right before I put my house up for sale, I turned a few acres of woods into pasture. The small trees and limbs went to the chipper, but I had about 10 good size poplars, oaks and a sycamore that got dropped too. I absolutely could not let all that fine wood go to waste (or to someone else) so I busted out my trusty little Craftsman 18" and spent 2 weekends bucking them. I'm stacking it all on a trailer and dragging them up the road when I go close on the new farm. Can't say I'm not dedicated! The moral of the story, though, is that little-engine-that-could Craftsman taught me a valuable lesson....buy as big a Stihl as you can handle (and afford!). I would have been done in half the time.
