    Welcome! Leave that crap elm rot to enhance the soil, plus it will save you the need to upgrade the hydros.
    Every time I use my splitter I want a kinetic more and more. Can't imagine it'd do well with elm and gum, which would be fine by me as I'll not touch either.

    I like burning elm. I have a good deal of standing dead elm in the pasture to good to let go.

    Love your splitter seeing they are made just down the road from me! I've used the 3 point hitch one works like a charm with the log lifter!

    Welcome to the forum DDobbs and have fun splitting that elm! I like the Super splitters too.. They are efficient and take less power to run and are really fast..
