It's my baby. It's already missing the tailgate & has the bed dinged up where it backed into it with the feed truck. Not to bad for 15 years of service.
Nah. I owned a Suzuki 500 and a Honda 250r when I was younger. I'm gonna buy a 7x14 enclosed work trailer and tidy up the garage.
Very nice truck for sure. You can put the newer 2007 headlights in them, and it's a great improvement as well. I have helped my dad do a few mods to his 2000 extra cab 7.3.
Lol, I was never a huge fan. Always figured he’d never win the big game. Here's some pics of my 2150 cyl before and after. It does good for being a 350... My 1st go... it was fun. MikeT4 helped me degree wheel and lay out timing lines for the ports. If it weren't for the removable transfer covers, I'm not sure I'd have tried (with a dremel flex shaft). View attachment 140869
He was better than Elvis @ KC. I think they would've won sb 36 if it wasn't for the tuck bs. & 37 was a joke that i dont blame on him. I remember that. Found some pics showing a 351 as a true open port? We'll see later this fall/ winter if I get time to mess it up.
Yeah, Sapp pancaked him. I was Pee O'd! It should be the 350 cyl w/ a flat top piston. But I'm not an expert so I'd try the 346 top but I don't have the 90 degree grinder so I'm limited. Can't say I'd do it enough to justify getting one either. huskihl Andrew and I were just talking about how cool it would be to have a 2 pc where the plug wasn't sticking out, kinda stealth mode!
I could rob the top end off my ne 346 that I smudged has an air leak. I'm afraid the case is cracked. Or I might take it to awol.
Tough to do. The idea of the 2 pc head is 1) easy to control compression without changing port timing, and 2) it puts the plug in the center of the chamber
