    With exception of 2 emergency root canals, its been atleast 15 years. For sure a cleaning, but mostly he clenched/grinded his teeth down REALLY far, the front are shorter and dentin showing on top, and god knows whats up in the back.

    He says he's too busy. He didn't grow up with dental care as kid, in his 30's a dentist had an accident while removing a wisdom tooth. Picture this, small female dentist having a bad day, hit the nerve on jaw during novocaine, then picture this, she was pulling the broken up wisdom, foot braced on his chair, lost her grip-she and the pliers thing both went flying and he had to get his mouth repaired. I think the latter has something to do with it :whistle: I wish nice gift bribes still worked.....

    can't help @wild west I married my hygienist.. but I hate dentists! I do not go numb.. my dad does root canals and crowns with no novacaine they didn't have it when he was a kid.

    only place I don't deal with pain is teeth.. in fact benefit of wife work is its free as a benefit I'm still procrastinate.

    Signing him up for dental insurance, that will help. Atleast he can get a cleaning and exam :) The new dentist I'm going to now ROCKS, and yup, the dentist is female, confident, gentle, kind, and-----attractive ;)
