Seeing many who have had fires already makes me wonder just how many of us have, so here is the poll.

btw, yes, we've had several fires already but none this morning.

I've had several fires so far. Small ones, though. Just in the morning to take the chill out of the air, until the sun comes around. 4-5 splits, with a bit of kindling.

My shop was cold the last 2 mornings so I had to crank up the old Harman Advance pellet stove. Put a new door gasket and the cross over air kit in for this season so it should burn better, I hope :)

I've burned every night since I got my stove install done (5 nights so far), and one daytime burn on Saturday when it was cool and windy all day. no, the novelty is not wearing off yet :)

Not yet. There's been no need as it's been warm out. There's been a couple nights where we had to close house windows. But that's it.

Not yet. Couple of nights I could have but just grabbed a blanket to throw over my lap while watching TV. Forecast says no fire in the next week. Getting antsy though.

I'm a hold out as well. Extra blankets last night and the window up a 1/4".

Looks like we had our first fire on Sept 14, at least there's a few pics from that day, so I'm assuming that was the first. But no burning steady.

Yep I have had about 4 fires already. It is snowing in Cheyenne today but where I am at it is still just rain. If the temp drops a little more it could snow here.
In fact I am just relaxing by the fire right now.

Yep the I-80 summit between Cheyenne and Laramie is being dumped on for sure. The truckers will be parked all over the place.

We have had a few small fires in the mornings as some others have said. We probably didn't need to do it, but it sure felt nice! It doesn't appear that we will be having another for a week or longer.

No fire yet for gosh sakes...close to 80 during the day here and being on Lake Erie makes the nights warm---get a blanket or someone to chase around under one!
