About twenty years ago my grandpa had a major brain tumor surgery that left him with some serious sinus reconstruction and also forced him to give up the old wood stove because of it. The stove ended up in my parents basement and yesterday I got to thinking about putting it in my own shop. It's in great shape and a smaller American Eagle stove with a single door with small glass window. Anyone have one or any info or anything ? I've got to do some digging to get any good pictures

I've only heard of them, Best of luck in your research. Many stoves in the late 70's through 80's didn't make it long for production after the EPA regs came into play. My guess is it's in that time era. I would use it if you have the chance, bring her back to Glory! :)

I'm planning on it for sure!!! :fire:
I was doing a bit of looking last night the Lancaster fabricating company, which was less than 20 minutes from my house made it went out of business 20 years ago and I always remember the stove being there in my 30 years and mom remembers it when she was still home and in high school in the 70's... at least the splitting and stacking part

@J.Dirt so I'm poking around a bit but have you worked on the stove project since then?

Unfortunately no. I still want to put it in the garage but unless I can come up with some pipe cheap I probly won't for a while. The new stuff was looking like $1200 or so :makeitrain"and I'm thinking on maybe tearing down the garage for a new pole barn soon anyway so we shall see
