Shadow is quite good at telling what is ripe and what is not. Cricket will eat them too if you point them out to her. Shadow just wades right in and picks her own.

Bunnies are on the way to their new home in NW Colorado. Lil one was pretty upset today, she wanted to give one bunny to them and keep one. Somehow someway we talked her into letting them both go with only 2 sobbings. PHEW!!! And ya, Rudolph told Santa that she would get a hampster this year.
milleo , turns out the older daughter has a "rabbitry" for pet rabbits, meat, and pelts. I was led to believe it was for a 2 year old whose bunnie died. Did not bother to share this with WWW or WWWW. The bunnies will be cared for however they turn out, inside pet or stew.

A nice original name - just like my Cockatiel's name, "Birdie" . In my defense, he already had that name for 10 years when I got him and I saw no reason to change it at that point.
