Finally made my axe

    I have been wanting to make this axe for over a year. Will i got it hung today.

    I only got yo try it on a couple of pieces one knarly twisty stringy hickory. It didn't impress me lol. Although nothing splits those in an impressive fashion.
    Then I tried a piece of oak and it worked really well.
    It did not stick. Before the rework it would stick all the time.

    I wonder if the reliefs that you ground in helped to alleviate the sticking? I have a few heads laying around, and I might grind one and give it a try. Cool video and thanks for sharing.
