I think during a future weekend, we at FHC need to have a cookoff! That would be fun!

We'll need paramedics on standby in case any of our artery clogging meals are the one to fill that last little opening:faint:

I was fixing sausage gravy but had to pause to get my littlest to nap. Momma took a walk and he likes to nap on dad. More of a brunch type deal only had cereal for breakfast and have a lot to do so probably won't eat lunch til later.

Well, it's there....might as well eat it.
Hash browns take too long when I'm hungry, so I end up with 3 eggs and some toast with an occasional sausage.
    Otherwise, it's PB on toast.
I've seen absolutely zero coffee in any of these posts. I hope it's because it's just a given.

how about old skool? brews the best coffee imo. I have a bunn that makes a nice pot in 3 minutes, but I love the old one better.

yup, I typically use it when I am home on the weekends.. its moar gooder than regular drip coffee. but, correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think its a percolator, boil the water, dump it in the top and it drips down..

Now that looks like a spread! The pic reminds me of the Betty Crocker cookbook photos from way back when.

Ah, so it's a dripolator then.
Got one of those, but all I do is put in the coffee and water, then pour when done.
However, when we were w/o power for almost 4 days a couple years ago, I boiled water on the woodstove, then poured it into the Mr. Coffee.
Made it a boilodripolator, I guess.
Anyway, you guys are making me want eggs.

yeah, I pour it from the bottom into the top over the sink..makes a couple drips if ya aren't quick. I got it from my grand mother before she died. her coffee was always the best. she switched to a Bunn the last couple years. I will say that electric stove makes it take longer, I miss gas...
