I should have know the golden pellets from energex we're going exstinct [temporary or permanant] when the last ton I had in the basement bought previous season was mixed with much darker pellets. probably the regular energx hardwoods or god hated me Stove chows.. Jesus!! like no one would notice? at the same time the web site stopped showing a picture of the goldens and replaced with Canadian hard/soft blend.. now they have a few Canadian pellets added. have no idea if my Hearth dealer will have them again..was the only pellets I would buy from him. example: he was selling EZ Blaze super premo for 309.00 ton. Early spring buy my A..... Bucks pellets had same for 249.00... getting into cooking pellets i see..
Dealer gave me 2 bags to try, these are 60/40 blend. those cooking pellets are $30 a bag,he sold almost a ton of them so far.
on the web site the hardwoods old greenish blue bag is gone.. re-bagged chows? who knows... my 1st year i burned 2 tons chows and 2 tons energex hardwoods.. I could not tell any difference... heat/ash etc... everything was the same except price..
pretty sure chows are bagged and] or distributed to box stores from energex.. could be made there also..
