Weekend will be chilly, with 10 and 15 Sat. and Sunday nights.
Might be time to start on the Oak. I've only got a couple days worth of Maple left anyway.
West side (Traverse City area ) might get a foot of snow.

    Did you hit TC LP?
Too much traffic for me, but we go to Sam's Club a couple times/year to load up on some things.

We were in Petosky recently, but haven't been to the dunes since my girls were little.
    They're both over 30 now. :)

Hibernate is quite a good thing to do with weather like that Dave. We are supposed to get a temperature dip here and maybe a bit of snow over the weekend. Got a friend meeting me at my parents with his trencher so I can run a new electric line. Would have to pick the coldest weekend yet don't ya know.

Construction season done here, freeze up.
Ground froze & lakes got a good ice cover,
Will be seeing ice fishermen out there soon.

Like the snow , lots better than rain this time of the year.

20°s for the highs & teens for lows. Good winter temps for a while.

The 6-1/2 hours of daylight toughest part.
Will get down to 5-1/2 hours in a month, which sucks.

Woo winter has arrived ! We just got up to 18f and windy. Its snowing and COLD. We decided to clean out the stove finally and take advantage of that huge firebox. This is going to be our first stuffed full load of the season I think.

Ya. Colder here for sure. I loaded the firebox 3/4 full at 9 last night and it was almost all gone at 6 this morning. A good bed of red coals to drop the next load on. Looks like about 8. That is pretty cold for November 24th.

I'm about a 2 hr drive north of Loon and the temp here is the same. We've also got a good stiff NW wind adding a whole lot of windchill to that. Burning a mix of maple and Ironwood right now. If this wind keeps up, may fire up Lil' Brother also later today. We re supposed to be down around zero tonight with the wind. She's winter Lads...................................!
