I've never seen a 925 in person. Just 922's and 902's in the 9xx series up here. 77cc but still lots of jam. That is a SXL-922. A pretty steady mix of Homelites travel to the bush. XL-76/130's are sleeper saws. Aside from the problematic Prestolite ignitions, they tug a mean chain.

    3 saw Homelite plan.

    Homelite 3-saw Plan (2).JPG

XL-76 with an alternate ignition coil. Timed from scratch. 30 BTDC. Posted this in another thread.

Took some smaller saws out for another cut. Cleaned up the leftovers. Not going to lie. 3000's are the go to in the smaller stuff. 026/260 hybrid and 630 Jonsereds just sat on the sideline. 3000's are plenty strong in the sub 50cc class. Going all P-series next weekend.

I have a full time day job , I cut some house lots for a developer on weekends .
Most of them are just a mile down the road , he'll twitch the wood for me and lately has offered money as well .
I mainly do it because he's given me a key to the gate and I have access to hundreds of acres for hunting and firewood .
Jerry(pioneerguy600 on AS) and I do most of the cutting for this developer .

Hi Mark. Hope all is well way out east. Haven't seen you on some of the other forums in awhile.

I've been checking in here a bit more of late. Looks like you've added some nice saws to your collection. I am an equal opportunist. I just like to make the cast away or thrifty buys come to life again. 335 is still sporting the bucking spike you sent me a few years ago.. Collection has grown somewhat since then. What is a guy to do. I even manage to get my girls out cutting once in awhile. Those are good days.

Some of the 3000's folks don't see often outside of Canada.

Well thank you. I do like taking the saw pics and making short clips of the odd one when running them.

It was very well taken care of and stored properly. It has been shelved since '83. It has only seen a handful of tanks and a bit of firewood back in '82. Mostly a GTG kind of saw if I ever manage to get to one.
