A refurbished vintage outer H & S spike for the CP125 arrived yesterday - Tried to strip that gray paint so to have bare steel like the inner original one,but it must've been epoxy enamel or something, because neither lacquer thinner or straight acetone would even touch it.So both spikes were repainted with heavy gloss black enamel instead.
This 090G showed up recently. Not a shelf queen, but getting tough to find early embossed matching cover sets in good condition like this one with that darn letter on the end!
Here's my china/husky saw's two with mahle 50mm two with big bore 52mm Stumpshot cut pop ups in 268 and 272 pistons for me. My favorite combo in a 372 lighter piston and wristpin. Rev's great with good torque.

Lifted the fire/forest ban here in southern BC. It has been all summer. First time back cutting today. Mostly ran one of my 750's I've been working on. Lots of miles on her. Lots of torque still. Going to run a bunch of different ones tomorrow. Found a couple fatties that couldn't get enough water in this extremely dry summer. Just trying out the 750...
6 on the average, last year was a mild one so I wasn't even close to that. Never tried coal but I do have a wood/coal stove. There is a little coal yard down the street where I work. They have a dispensing machine I want to try. It's $4.25 and it'll push a box of coal out the bottom. I'm dying to see how small it is.
20 hrs on 10lbs and i still got fire when i shake the grate and add more. the chimney requires less maintenance as well very little soot just ash. clinkers are the only problems its a good idea to keep a poker near by in case the grate get a few clinkers built up on it.
