All they had were full tons. Once they break one open I'll be sure to grab some.

That never stops me, I cut the wrapper open and take a couple bags....lol I'm make sure to cut the wrapper so as to cover the pellets back up so the weather doesn't get to it.

I live in Coventry RI and saw this at the Coventry HD. I was going to try some but I haven't yet. Are they worth a shot? I haven't had good luck with pellets from HD or TS the last few years. My favorite pellet of all time is Vermont but they are very expensive and hard to get. I have good luck with LG Granules and Barefoot. Maybe I'll pick up a few bags this week to try out.

Never hurts to try a few bags and see how your stove likes them.

    BTW...welcome to the board!

    Thanks!

I have a QuadraFire Castile insert. I'll pick up a few to try this week and post my results.

I usually burn 5-6 tons a year but I upgraded my HVAC system this summer. I switched from oil to propane with a very efficient heat pump. It is capable of heating down to zero degrees. I assume I will be burning less pellets this year if the new HVAC system is as efficient as it claims to be.
