Ha! Sorry Matt. Ordinarily I try to do this type of thing a little earlier but lately I've just been getting sort of a late start. If it makes you fell better, I'll eat a couple for you and drink a cold one in your honor.

The meatballs I made last night are gonna be the gift that keeps on giving for a few more days it seems. Made up a meatball sammy for dinner. Toasted up a sourdough bun then put on some mayo. Sliced up a couple meatballs, put a little more bbq sauce on 'em then topped with bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado. Handful of chips and a cold beer and I was on my way.

X2 on the basic burger-local ground beef has me spoiled-my beef is raised at the end of my street and boy does it make a difference

I do like a burger with extra stuff in it once in a while but generally its beef, a little peppered seasoning, cheese, cooked over lump charcoal medium rare and juicy MMMMMM

I keep mine pretty simple Worcestershire and a bunch of minced garlic mix form patties and return to fridge to marinate and stiffen up. Got to be pepperjack cheese, homemade zesty dill pickle, tomato, lettuce, mustard and or Miracle Whip. Grill some asparagus instead of fries or when it's cooler baked Butternut squash cubes - it's an amazing side ;)

I did some last night. Convinced the GF to add 1 minced Jalapeno, made hers up then added the garlic and Worcestershire to mine. Homemade pickles, lettuce and fresh tomatoes.
I slacked and cooked on the Griddler with the T-storms we had rumbling in the distance;)
