Sweet ski boat, I bet that throws an awsome wake for sking! I hate choppy water! I am getting to be a bit of a ski snob. Hopping for good weather for the 4th, got to get on the water early to beat the jet skis and tubers!

We almost got taken out by some jet skis last year while anchored near a shallow flat. I thought it would be a nice holiday weekend to get on the water to fish before sun up and as soon as 730 hit holy wake fest!!!:bug: We left.

    Some, not all.

I used to jet ski quite a bit. We still have one at the cottage.

But yes, if used irresponsibly, jet ski's are bad things.

Your so right! I put most of the blam in the parents that don't train their kids how to Handel them responsibly. "Here's the keys kid go have a good time and don't worry about all the other boaters on the water. Are you kidding me!

That's precisely why I never let anyone but experienced riders on any of my jet skis. So many think, I can do that. No, no you can't. Granted I had modified skis, and one you had to stand on to ride, with a lot of balance required.

A couple of 3 pound Sacramento perch caught while fishing for trout. These were the only ones I've ever hooked into. :seasoned:I wish I knew the trick to catching the them.

Hmm those are some neat looking fish! Kind of like our crappie and rock bass around here, at 3 pounds though that's a nice slab!:seasoned::stirpot: I just googled them and they've been found up to 24" and 8 pounds!! Wow !!
