Sorry if you all have posted this, I have been on Dino juice. But while ordering my pellets today, I was told a shipment of Blazers was on the rails to the store They were bought out by another company. Will be in the 300 buck range (like they used to be up hear a few years back). Will be interested to see if they are still the same!

Bought the Blazers two years ago and still have a ton to burn. Ashy and not packing the heat of the Somersets in my Castilles....your mileage might vary. Got 3 tons of Sets last year for $259/ton. On the hunt for more...

I have 3 flavors of Douglas Fir right now...North Idaho and NW Douglas Fir are on the ground at Upton and ready to go and the Supreme Douglas Fir (Bear Mtn) will start shipping to dealers about the 1st week of July...so we have something for everyone. IF you're dealer doesn't stock at least one of my flavors, have them give me a call and will see what we can help them with. The Supreme NW Douglas Fir will be in a purple bag and have A LOT of dealers that have pre-ordered them for this summer/fall period. I do have a very small amount of Blazers, but to make the numbers work, they are priced too close to the NW Supreme DF and we went with the Bear Mtn as it is a proven winner and still considered by most to be the very best Douglas Fir there is....based on the demand so far...I can't argue that ...if anyone needs help with finding a dealer...just email [email protected] and I will help you find a dealer near you ...

Only dealer I know of in NE that stocks Sets on a regular basis is Long Pond in Eastern CT...give Steve a call and see if he can help you out...

well I guess 10's of thousands of tons sold over 9 years, all over New England, NY, NJ, PA, NM, CA, OR WA, ID, MT and yes even BC and Quebec...dozens and dozens, if not hundreds of positive reviews and comments on-line and feed back from a whole lot of customers ... I have learned a little bit about pellets in my travels over the years...and I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express on my last customer road trip visit......

Blah, blah, blah.....You could say that about a lot of pellets out there. You still don't burn/use what you sell.

For every great review and comment, I can show you just the opposite too.

I've had good luck with many brands only to see someone struggle with em........ o_O Best to take the reviews with some salt and try them to see for themselves.

Or buy a beast that's eats dirt JIC.............. :p

Maybe Doug stayed at a Holiday Inn??

I heard one of those might not be so dandy......... Pinnacle fir IIRC. Couple of friends didn't have so great of luck with em. Wound up going with something else.

Not sure why your posting in a Blazer thread unless you are planning on selling them?? But heck if were gonna start tossing other brand names about. Olympus is another dandy fir. What sucks is no one close has any of these in my area. No biggie, My stove burns dirt and I'm cheap as heck....... :zip:

I guess I missed the requirement in the Wood Pellet Salesman handbook where it was mandatory that everyone burns pellets before they can sell them....let me go back and check...
slvrblkk.....I'm still not sure why this bothers you so much....you might want to talk to somebody about this...seriously dude.

Good advise jtakeman....try before you buy....what one person thinks is good....the next person not so much.....just like Baskins and Robbins ice cream...there is something for everyone. Olympus is a very good pellet.......everybody has their priorities....jtakeman's is fishing....others may be better pellets.....

    PS....I always stay at Holiday Inn's...... :)

Your close, Beer first. Then fishing. :D :p

Still like knowing whats out there in pellet land. Just can't spend the big $$ as others. I might splurge on a $$ Softy this year? Still in debate with the Mrs(AKA boss lady). With collage tuition coming up and 1 year left of boat payment. I might loss that battle. I might not always buy $$ pellets, But I surely'd like too!! :emptywallet:

When we get closer to the season ...I can arrange for you to try some samples and see what you think....and since you feel you are "cheap as heck"....I'll make sure the price is right....
