Banh Mi (Vietnamese subs)

    These are a good cheap sandwich if there's a vietnamese neighborhood near you. Or else you can make them at home. Fillimgs are pickled carrot, coriander, cucumber strips, jalapenos, mayo and the meat. In this case I made some lemongrass marinade for some sliced pork butt that grilled and sliced for the sandwich.

    Nice! We've been making banh mi for a while. They really are quite easy, but very good. I'll see if I can find the post that I made on FHC a while back.

    Something must be wrong with me, I'd take a good sammy over almost anything except a steak and if there was a good steak sub sitting next to it…….that would really be a hard decision.:drool:

    Nice. It was my first time making them but they are so easy...can make these for a crowd too. So we will make them again for sure.
