    Attention savemoney!

I smoked some thick cut bacon this afternoon and also tried out my new cold smoking gizmo.

This is my first time trying cold smoking. My dad has put an order in for smoked Swiss. After this trial run with velveta I will stop by Jungle Jim's and grab some of the good stuff.

I will let the cold smoke go overnight then take it off the grill early morning before I head to work. It's the end of the quarter so everyone is flipping out for revenue.

Looking great OhioStihl. You might want to check out the grillmatz on the a-maz-n smoker website. They're real handy for smoking cheese and nuts. In fact, I ordered some when I got my smoker and still have a sheet left over that I'd send to you if you want.

Thanks Trundle, I will check them out. I thought I would grab something next time I head to the city at a kitchen store.

I prefer to buy pork belly and make my own bacon. Have only done it once so far and it came out very good, I am due to make some more

We tried those bacon pancake things. They look like maxi pads and taste about the same. Gotta keep them separate to get the best flavor. And the inside of the pancake does not like to cook because the bacon riffles make pockets of wet goo.
