Do the finger tips get sore from pushing the remotes. You notice I did not say knobs. I do not think radios have them any more.

There are a lot of things that get into this situation. I and a few other folks could write a book on it. Lots of things to get this train de-railed.

Not fake ones, real ones that can be heard at your nearest Highland Games competition. KC (kitty cat) was sleeping on a set of pipes last Saturday for quite sometime before they went to a concert.

A little background on this event.

I belong to a guitar forum. The members all take turns hosting these gatherings throughout the year. I've attended a few but this was my first time hosting and it went very well. Couples came in from CO, VA, NY, and NJ. There were also 4 local musicians and a handful of folks just socializing. One of the non-musicians wandered around shooting videos for me. Unfortunately the sound quality leaves a little to be desired.

I'm not going to post all 17 videos here. If you're interested, I created a YouTube channel for the event. It can be found here.

    Chordie Pa.

Here is half of the couple from NY playing a song with her daughter.

I'm still working on making a slideshow from the stills that were taken.

That is pretty neat that you all meet that way and jam together.

There is a place here that I go to once in awhile on Sundays for a jam with some other guitar players. It really is a lot of fun.

Picked up a new Fender MIM telecaster yesterday. I've wanted a tele for a long time and am very pleased with it so far. It sounds great and plays easy.

i played guitar for about 34 years. i haven't played for almost 5 years now.
guess i just got tired of it. i've been catching up on all those years i didn't watch movies or play video games.

this is probably my best composition. written summer of '05
my friend (who did the post production atmospherics on this version) accidentally included the file when he sent stuff of to om records when he was doing stuff for them. it actually got selected for the compilation release "rocket empire"
first i knew of it it was already on the album. it's played on a '93 larrivee om1 capoed at the second fret

I could never get the fingers on my right hand to do that; and I've really tried because I love the sound.

I put some strings on my acoustic last week I used Martin Phosphor Bronze lights. Still waiting for them to break in and sound like I like.

Have you tried the Elixir phosphor bronze strings and if you did how do they compare to the Martins.

I have used the Elixars I dont have alot of details for you but they did sound fine but alot depends on your guitar. I have spruce top.

Google stuff like Phosphor bronze on a spruce top or a cedar top and you will find some good info.
