While using my Fishers X27 to split some smaller rounds, I put the sheath (snd my moisture meter) on the mounted spare tire of my Jeep which was parked nearby. When finished, I did some stacking, etc, then went in for a cup of coffee. It was then that the wife took the Jeep and drove away! The sheath and MM were never to be seen again! Although the Fishers isn't my primary splitting tool, I still like to take care of my stuff, and tried to find a sheath or cover to protect the ax head. Couldn't find one, so I filled out the customer inquiry form on their web site asking where I could go to purchase a replacement. About three days later, I received an email from Kaitlyn Wood at Fishers Customer Service telling me a replacement sheath was on its way to me. I got it yesterday - 7 days from when I contacted them! I think that level of service deserves to be recognized. Thank you, Kaitlyn. You're the best!
I have heard of them doing that before when people were looking for a replacement sheath cuz they forgot to take it off and smashed it . Great customer service
thanks for letting us know always like doing business with American companies that believe in customer service
I hate auto correct! It is Fiskars... I typed Fiskars.... I even had the emails for the correct spelling of Kaitlyn's name. Sorry!
I had the same luck with Fiskars. I have a Fiskars splitting axe so I Got the sharpener so I could sharpen the axe. After using it a hand full of times it kept coming apart, sent a pic and s little more info, and the sharpener is in the mail.
