Tested some 22 ammo today.

Ammo tested was

Rem golden bullet
Federal auto match
Winchester m22
Cci mini mag 40gr round nose


Target on the right is the 5 round group 22 test. Target on the left was some 3 round group handload development for the ar. Bullseye is 1 inch for a reference.

Note the the last 3 shot group on the handloads woot!

The 22 target confirms what I thought before I shot from the rest....federal auto match is not very accurate in this gun.

 

i was admiring my grandpas TC in 22-250 today, damm those are haulin azz.

 

I shot some automatch today. It ran fine but not very accurate IMO. Glad I only bought 3 bricks of it.

 

I probably have 6+ bricks of the auto match

 

I'll take them off your hands for the right price...

 

It's fine for plinking ammo.

 

Bass Pro has thunderbolts for $.06 in stock online. I don't see a limit either.
