I just heard from one of the pellet suppliers in my area that 802 pellets from Vermont has closed it's mill and EasyBlaze might be next

Not good, but also not surprising since pellet prices ave not fallen back while oil and propane have. I still burn both pellet and oil but the ratio has reversed in the past 2-3 seasons.

Bad timing on starting a company attempting to offer higher end product while competing with an established high end product-during a slow down in general sales of the product.

I really dont know or have experience with 802, but if the product was as good as Vermont 3-4 years ago they would have had a much better shot.

    Very sad to hear!! :tears:

Cheap oil and warm winters have taken their toll. Seems to have hit the little mills the hardest and Some of the bigger mills have had a rough go of it too. Just hope we don't lose anymore!!

I wondered if this might have happened. I'm going to Vermont in a month and I've been searching for dealers selling 802's and Vermonts. I couldn't find anyone selling the 802's. Makes sense now.

It is kind of funny that bbs are currently higher priced then pellet shops, and in some cases for really good chit. Poor people buying at the bbs.
