I got a new MS 661C-M R in the mail today (less than a tank through it).

And went to the dealer and bought a new leaf blower. The entry level Pro hand held model. The BG 86 with both tubes (flat and round). I got some off of MSRP, a pair of glasses (way to big), and a free hat :)

After spending 3 days this past weekend in Iowa at the GTG Oakfest 2015. I had a great day off today recovering.

Beautiful saw. Looks like the Cookie Monster showed up at the G2G.

It's only a 20" because it was PHO.

I have two 20" chains I want to test this week. And being a new saw, it will be my testing saw for break in.

I will be buying a 36" lightweight bar for it.

I like me some stihls. They've been very good to my family. My 029 super my only saw for now, is 15 years old now, never touched anything on it except chains and a bar. It's got the original spark plug in it and it's cut a lot of cords of wood. It's even had logs drop on it. Pull and go.

You should try a husky. They make for a better wheel chock.

    I'm 50% German, 50% Norwegian.

So, no Swedish saws for me. Lol. I just gravitate to German made things.

The 572xp does sound like a nice saw though. To be honest, when my dad bought the 029supa, it was between that and the 455 rancher.

Sweet saw, and nice blower also! We really made a mess at that GTG, they will have cookies for campfires for the summer.

The saws must have out numbered the people there 4 or 5 to 1 :) I ended up selling my little dolly right before I left on Sunday. I was not thinking clearly, I should have put a for sale sign on my MM261C while I was there, someone may have bought it.

Yeah. It's a legit R model. The one thing I kinda don't like is the white "elbow" on the wrap. They have always been black in years past. It looks clean, but seems like a part that will look very ugly, very soon
