If it's reasonably priced i'll try it
In the past the husky and Oregon chain was comparable.
Stihl lasted me a bit longer
But the price of stihl and others made me look for alternatives.
I've been running china 3/8 Upstart chain since spring good stuff 10.00 a loop of 20 chisel.
But i would like to try the new husky chain to compare.

All this talk about the optimum angle...well what is that angle? They won't tell? Someone open the box and measure it for us?

Optimum for what? Speed? Longevity? What saw? 60cc or 90? Bar length? Chain sequence? 32:1 or 50:1? Softwood? Hardwood?

It sounds like Husky is trying to make an in-house chain similar Stihl. Right now, I can get 3 loops of Stihl 33RS72 (3/8th, 0.050. 20" Full Chisel) for $60 at my local shop, or any length at similar price per DL. He sells it "3 for the price of 2." That's going to be hard to compete with. However, I've been transitioning all of my bars and chain to 0.063 and I'm known to "rock" and ruin my chains long before they run out of cutter to sharpen, so usually I have reel of 75LGX or 33RC on hand. It sharpens fast and I don't cry if I hit a rock and ruin a loop. I save a few loops of Stihl for my "felling" activities.

Last 20" loops of Oregon I bought were $10 shipped to my door. So I bought 6 chains to your 3. This was only 2 years ago I think...before yall tell me yea in the 80s.

I totally get it. Loggerchain.com runs specials on 3/8th, 0.050, 72 dl at about $12 per loop. I think that is even cheaper (per DL) than their price for 100' reels. Deals are out there to be had for sure. Especially for common chain types.
    WTF? Please explain.

It's just marketing language. What intrigues me is the claimed narrower kerf.

Coming soon is all I know.

WTF with the angle? 32.8 degrees or what. 59.2 instead of 60? Anybody know, I'm not sold yet. Run 3/8 .50ga. BTW

Haha, yea some small fraction that probably statistically is not significant nor repeatable on anything other than a computer ground machine.

Also per the kerf I was curious as well. Maybe they use thinner tie straps and a .001 of an inch narrower cutter?
