    We ran out of Port O'Connor today. We will be fishing out of S. Padre Island the next two days.

    My family has a long history of living/ visiting Palacios. About 20 years ago I took my son down there when my Mom was living there and he was the first of the fifth generation of our family to be there. Lot of history there with LaSalles ship being found in the bay.

    Started out great. Then slowed down. Stil plenty of time.

    Wow. Quite possibly the slowest 4 days of S. TX redfishing I've ever experienced. To cap it off, we only got about 2 hrs in this morning before the wicked thunderstorms chased us off the water. Not complaining, it was still a great trip with great friends. Ultimately, nobody can control the weather.

    Pretty Fish...never seen one with so many spots.

    Me neither. It had just as many on the other side. Set two personal records with that one fish. Smallest redfish I've ever caught and the most spots.
