I got the CKRT spring assisted with the g10 handle.
I like it a lot. And I'm very picky when I choose a new knife.
I dont have any pics but it looks like this one

I am not a huge knife guy but I usually have one of the Gerbers on me.
The Buck is seldom used and that Camp USA Buck look alike I have had many moons.

True story, camping with friends, campfire drinkin, at a state park, we ran out of firewood, I went out cut down at 3" sapling, with Leatherman, I drug it back through the woods to camp, we had a hot bed of coals, cut it up enjoyed the fire.
More funny part was, before I went n got that tree, one friend burned the pages of a chick magazine, belonging to his wife (she had not read yet) who was sleeping, when she came out and found out what he did, she was Pizz off big time, tore his azz up:hair:
We laughed our asses off:rofl:
Next morning she laughed about it:fire::MM::campfire:

Since the wife has decided that we are going to start raising sheep... of course, I had to buy us a "stockman" style, user knife. I chose the Buck 301. It's actually a really well-made knife for $30. It should be great for trimming hooves, lancing boils, and other general "stockman" duties, without worrying about ruining an expensive blade. Honestly, I'm really impressed. Once I re-grinding and stropping the edges, I think it will be a great, versatile knife.

Update: A little quality time with stones and strop = BINGO! I've got the grinds all smoothed out and the edges polished razor-sharp. For a "user" knife, I like the simple "injection molded black valox handle." It should be very durable and very grippy, even when wet, muddy or bloody. I'm very satisfied with this knife. Great blades, great warranty, great price.

Now... I've got a W.R. Case XX large stockman coming in the mail. I'll let you all know how it compares.

Those Fenix lights are no joke! I bought the PD35 and liked it so much I picked up one of their headlamps. The PD35 is about like having a set of HID headlights in my pocket!
