New last season. New England softwood venture like Vermont Woodpellets. Located in Vermont also. 802 pellets | Renewable Fuels of Vermont
Well I do not need them but at 256 a ton (307 for 60 bag pallet) I could not resist, besides we had an empty shed. Purchased 180 more bags of LaCrete Saturday on the way home from Corinth with Linda. The price has been gnawing at my checkbook all summer. Figure even if I don't need em the daughter and son in law may. Delivery deferred until after Labor Day when we will be spending less time at the camp.
I'm just starting to see some advertising for these from Pellets Now a distributor from Vermont I believe .
I hear ya slvrblkk . I plan on picking up some test bags of the 802's before I commit to 3 or more tons
Spoke to Robbins, they are expecting their first load of MWP softies later this week. No pricing yet. Will check back later this week.
IIRC the people that burned them last year compared them to Vermonts. The story I hear is 2 brothers worked for Vermont then left and started their own company which is the 802's, the area code down there.
Just came back from. Home Page and picked up some 802's , Blue Ridge , Northern Max and LGs . Very nice farm and owners . The price was a little high $ 7 dollars a bag but it was a one shot deal because the ride is an hour and a half from home .
I'd be interested to see how those burn for you....I wonder if that's the same pellet as in a Cubex bag?
