Local TSC has received several truckloads. Stopped in to see what they have, it's all MWP so far. I think $240 was the pre-season buy price here too.
I've had good luck with them too. A couple of consistency issues from year to year but overall a good pellet for the money. Steve Barker (SIB) is selling them for $224 ton. Are you anywhere near him?
I am in his delivery area. Have bought from him a few times. I like the fact that he puts them into the garage right where I want them so they don't have to be moved again.
I don't burn pellets, but.. They have their bar and chain oil on sale 2 for $12. Might be time to stock up.
TSC has a coupon that you can print off or download that is good for 10.00 on a 50.00 purchase or 5 off on 25. Good until Aug. 2nd. Gary
Anything is possible, but right now I have a wood stove, oil-forced air heat, and a propane direct vent fireplace that can keep our little place warm in a pinch. Maybe when I get to old for far' woodin'...?
Not just old. sometimes it is because the heating device can be placed with just venting vs a chimney. Other times because you only have to attend to it once a day, or like me, physically unable to handle the wood in a practical manner. I love wood heat, and would go back to it in a heartbeat if it were more realistic. This harman gives me the comfort and heat of wood burning, but without all the other issues. Love it!
