Started out today with some Johnsonville Brats (low boiled with spices then grilled -add kraut, Lawry's salt and a Texas Pete pepper), a batch of Cukes and Onions (which I haven't made in about 20 years) and some macaroni salad fished from the Kroger deli.

Bought some steaks and corn on the cob, and strawberries. Plan is to have that tomorrow. Son will do the grill. We had burgers from the grill and some watermelon for lunch, then Pizza for supper.

That was my story for years and years. What you do when you work for a hospital. Hardly ever had time I could plan on being mine to spend with others. Now, all I have is time, but not able to get around too good. set your priorities well my friend. Life can be short.

^+1 Savemoney! That reminds me, I need to get my bike to the shop to get the tires replaced very as soon as possible.

Just to stay with the spirit of the post, I do have some Tomahawk Rib Eye Steaks ready to go tomorrow!

I'll be grilling a one pound Ribeye (thick cut) along with 4 venison burgers. I haven't decided on the fixins yet.

I figure since I'll be grilling, I might as well make it worth while since it is for only me. I'll likely end up eating 1/3 to 1/2 the ribeye, and the rest (burgers and ribeye) will be for meals and snacks later in the week.

Rain is anticipated for Monday, so we had our BBQ today. The Steaks were wonderful, and the corn on the cob was really sweet. The kids all ate well so it must have been a good meal. We had ice crème sundays for desert. Love it. Nice to feel alive again.

Did some shopping Saturday and got lean burger, buns, strawberries, angel food cake, cool whip. Two lbs. of the 3 lbs. of strawberries were eaten for desert Sat. and Sunday. :headbang::rofl:  My wife made me do it.
Forgot I had ground sausage in the freezer, so that'll get added to the burger with a bunch of other stuff for burgers that are more like meatloaf patties.:drool:
We'll figure out the rest later.
