I need some wood split

    Hi I hd to have 15 dead ash trees cut down. I have cut them into 18" lengths and now I have a 50' pile of logs ready for splitting. Anybody interested in helping me out here? I'm certainly willing to pay a reasonable;e fee.

    Not completely but I have a big fireplace that burns a lot of wood in a season

    Welcome aboard Do ron ron ! If you are seriously looking for help, try an ad in local papers asking for same.

    And get an insert for that fireplace!

    Take a look on craigslist there are guys with ads on there, (around here there is anyway) , they will bring their splitter over and split your wood, for a fee of course

    I'd rent a splitter for a weekend and recruit plenty of helpers. Turn that pile of rounds into a pile of splits.

    Or simply buy a splitter used and sell it when you're done. You might not even lose any money if you clean it up and present your ad better than the original seller.
