I've been eyeballing those eco diesels Dex. I haven't driven one yet, but on paper, they are a definite contender for my next ride. Congrats and enjoy.
Sweet!!! Now you won't have to borrow your wife's car! Guess I'd best warn the neighbor before you bring those quads! I saw you eyeballing his and can just picture you two heading down the lanes or roads. I could keep up with you for a short distance but mine will only do about 65 mph.
Me and your neighbor would be best pals!! Like peas and carrots! ! My next trip, the play quads are coming 100%!! His ATV and mine are the same year and have some of the same work done. Except I added a Hot cam and a 440cc big bore kit. I bought my 400 ex in July of 1999. It's 17 years old and looks like new. Take care of your equipment and it will take care of you. Look forward to shredding the dunes!! So expect me a day (or two) early! With hosts like you and Judy? And the land/homestead you have? We'd all be crazy not to do it again! 'Til the payment book comes... I have heard good things about the fuel mileage on those. Nice quads. I built a stroker motor for my brothers 250X some years back, 3...heck I can't remember the size anymore... 310, 330, something like that, really run compared to stock...still wouldn't outrun my 350X though
The 350X and original 250R's were the best trikes out there!! The 250x is the same frame and platform as the 300ex. If my memory serves me correct? The more popular big bore kit for the 250x was 310? IIRC.. That would be a nice machine! I like the longer and wider wheelbase of the 400 and the new 450's. They handle so much better. But of you're woods riding? It doesn't matter. The 250, 300, 350, 400, and 450's are all pretty close in cornering woods.
No solid plans made yet. Wait until next year then we'll see about it. Does this question you asked mean you and WWW will show up?
