I want to get another mag for the CCP and none of my usual places carry it. Midway has a good deal on them, but I have no experience with them. Opinions?
I've ordered from them several times and have been happy with the products and shipping. Seems to be a good outfit.
I have bought from them for 25 years. I remember when their mailings were just a 20 page or so newspaper . Never been disappointed.
Midway is great, and shipping is very quick. Brownell's also gets orders shipped fast, in my experience. This is with their standard shipping.
WWW has used them a few times, and I hit a sale on disposable cleaning cloths from them several years ago. Always arrived in great condition, NO complaints.
I ordered some things, from Midway, for turkey hunting yesterday at 9:00 AM. Received the e-mail that the order had shipped at 11:46 yesterday. Estimated delivery is February 15, standard shipping. I did feel that this was a bit quicker than normal. Must have been a slow day.
Midway has been around a long time...because they are a good company. As mentioned, Larry Potterfield is a big 2nd amendment supporter
Got it today, but I ended up going through cheaperthandirt because the stuff the old lady needed was coming from there. Less shipping costs.
Grizzly Adam As a 2a supporter, you should research how ctd treated their customers during the last scare on hi cap mags, ammo prices, etc. They were the first retailer jacking magazine prices 10fold. Yes, a $10 mag went to $100 overnight. Plenty of shops like midway held to their $10 price and didn't screw the customer. I won't give ctd my money, even if shipping is cheaper. Jmo. Support midway if you can.
Thanks for the info. CTD was the only reputable dealer I could find the pinky extender mags for her 709. I will avoid them in the future.
CTD is on my "no fly zone", unless it's one item and super cheap. I learned my lesson. Pay attention to their shipping locations. They can really get you on shipping if you don't pay attention.
