    Gotta have some fresh corn on the cob. We tried the cooking in the cooler method. Came out great.

    That's the name of our corn, "gotta have it', from Gurney's. I've read reviews where some people say it's actually too sweet, but I must disagree. We won't buy corn on the cob any longer. Whether it's from the store, farmer's market or roadside stand, it's all the same crap, suitable for horses and cows maybe.

    golly ,gosh, geewiz! THEY FINALLY ATTACKED! NEVER HAVE I WITNESSED A FAILING SQUASH CROP BITE THE DUST AS THIS ONE!. the plants had done so well , i'll try to save them with surgery this afternoon and bury the cuts and see if they will heal?

    Mrs loon picked a bunch of beans yesterday and I wont be touching them as there were some hot peppers picked and thrown in.:hair::D

    finally, plants in the ground 5/25/15. the first 4 tomatoes picked today(74 days) ! about time!

    I made seven quarts of spaghetti sauce this morning. Used about twenty five pounds of 'maters, two onions, six peppers, garlic and basil and oregano from the garden.
