Saw #2 to help with my custody battle... Is this pretty nice Stihl 025 chainsaw. RJames helped me get this from Michigan about a month ago. This was suppose to stay in a case on the back rack of the old Big Red.... But it wasnt meant to be i guess . This is pretty nice... Even nicer after a good scrubbin ! Has about 130 psi compression. The bar has some life left and the chain is about done. This is running a .325 sprocket. Has alot of life left in it. Runs great.. Starts easy too. Would like to get $175 plus shipping for this. But will listen to offers!
I will vouch for this saw. It's pretty darn nice, piston has machine marks clearly visible. Was owned by an older gentleman on a farm. Don't think it was used much. 130# seems low but maybe that's normal for that saw? Sure ran good the little bit I had it. Worth every penny, he's got more into it than his asking price. Good saw from a good guy.
I just sold one last week Fuzz - top end was in great shape, ran very strong, and pulled 135, so compression is likely just fine for that saw. Good luck with the sale and hoping all works out for the best. Cheers!
I just worked on one for a guy that he bought new and has run for a long long time now. Had 120psi but still ran good after a carb replacement.
