    Got mine a couple of months ago. It was cheaper at the hardware than online!!!! One downfall to it is that the split rounds tend to fly off of the chopping block.

    I have yet to take the paint off the sides to polish it up. I have been letting the wood take care of the paint :) I also wrap the head in an oil soaked rag to keep the rust off.

    oil soaked rag is a good idea, also i like the orange on it so i hope the paint stays around for a while.

    I took the paint off mine. It's thick and causes extra drag.
