...as in deer, elk, moose and other big game animal racks of course I'm a hunter but I'm also a Boone and Crocket & a Pope and Young measurer and I love to see pictures and hear peoples stories on how they were successful in their harvest of a big game animal. Here is a few of mine from over the years. I harvested this 8 pointer last fall One of my largest from 2012 2007 - 8 pointer a 2005 10 pointer A moose I harvested a few years back Let's see some of your pictures.
Here are some old pictures and ya might recognize the one fella Paul. Second pic is from the end of the left ski-doo path. lost a bunch of pictures on the pute years ago but I know there is another pic of Mark getting his first deer from the condo somewhere here in the house.
A friend took this pretty 8 point out back this year ................................... all I got was a tree!
That's a real nice high racked 8! Very nice deer. Yeah and I've taken a tree or two in my time too Pretty sure there is another version of Loon's first picture but from a different angle with a wounded tree in the background
Another great buck! An archery harvest 200 yards from your front door That's one hell of a good shot...I'm not sure I could do that with a rifle. Did you have this deer scored? Looks like a P&Y deer.
That's a heck of a good start Eastern wild turkeys were re-introduced into Ontario in the late 80's and it's been a great success story. From a little under 300 birds they multiplied to around 50,000 by the late 90's. I've yet to take a long beard but have gotten a couple jakes. Our season opens in about a month and I'm looking forward to getting out with my son to see if he can get his first bird. Edit: Love the digital camo
Unprofessionally scored about 131 and change. BTW, the shot was 36 yds, double lung, saw him crashed at about 70 yds.
