I'm looking for a Husq 562 as the ad says.

Not for me.. But for a friend. I've owned one (and a 555) and liked it. But I have a buddy that wants one.

Not looking for a "ported" saw. Just a good used 562.

If you know of anything? PM me.

Also, he is not the Internet type. He has been talking about this saw for awhile. I'd like to surprise him for Christmas if I can find one.

    Thanks..

I sure like mine! Except for the grey paint that's falling off the clutch cover. :(

I don't like that either. Would prefer a 555, but..... It's for a friend. So I am going with it.

Dex CL. There was a used 555 high 300 range and new or like new 562 500 range. Closer to you north alittle.

    I seen that 555. I think it was $375.

That is a good deal. But I picked up another Unicorn instead. :) lol

    This one is number 4...

My Unicorn 460 is on the left. The other is on the right.

I actually really dislike the itty-bitty stock spikes on the 440/460. In commercial logging/tree work you see them all the time with muffler covers all smashed in, and little paint on the front for the cases.

yeah I agree, and with the itty bitty thorns on them they don't sit still with a long bar either.
its that really a label from a label maker? That's it... you're getting a real legit decal! :D

I want to try a 555/562xp as well, but the whole small mount bar thing really sucks on the 555

IIRC Husky was going to release a 556 in the US, but never did. (a large mount 555). Wouldnt have been a bad idea, but I am guessing they kept the 555 a small mount to create some difference and eliminate some cross competition between the 555/562.
