    If anyone close to me in NE Ohio needs kindling I have a huge pile of lath from restoring my house. This stuff is great for kindling and very dry. If you want some let me know. Otherwise I'm burning most of it in the fire pit. image.jpg

    I did the same thing about 2 years ago. Pulled the nails and cut them into 14" pieces on the chops saw.
    It gave me two years worth of kindling.

    We used that stuff for years as kindling when I was a kid. :thumbs: One whole side of the pig pen/wood shed was always full of it - my parents always used to save it from remodeling projects of their old farmhouse.

    I wanna make that flag in the "Betsy Ross" version with the 13 colony circle of stars......

    I saw a lath hutch at a local apple orchard we were at a couple weeks back, made out of recycled lath and they were asking like 400 or 500 bucks for it, it was awesome and looked simple to make....
