The dog wanted to go out, so I grabbed the P-22 and played chaperone for a bit. While she's bouncing around being a dumb dawg, I realized that little P-22 has to be the best fit in my hand of everything I own. It just feels nice, points right on with eyes closed, and a great balance.
My rifles I modify to fit-(my .338WM has a 12-1/2" LOP), but the P-22 is good right out of the box.
So, what fit's your hand/ shoulder naturally? JB

I have 2 Benelli SBE 1's. In order for them to fit me, I have to use the OEM shim with the most "drop" and add 3/4-1 inch on the LOP for it to fit me properly. I have long arms and a long neck.

Back when I was in college I shot my neighbor's Ruger Red Label 20 GA. I didn't miss the entire session shooting clays. As soon as I landed a job out of college, I had one within a month. It fits me better than any other shotgun I've shot.

I like the feel of the Smith and Wesson m&p. They just feel good. However, I like to shoot Glocks. I like the grip angle of a Glock. When I got used to it nothing else felt right. I'm sure I could get used to something else, but I don't want to.

I used to shoot my buddy's Browning Auto-5 Light 12g and had similar results with that gun. I took many pheasants with it over the years. I once bought a modern Browning semi-auto 12g but it just didn't fit me the same. Now I'm searching for a good deal on an original Belgium Auto-5 12g.

As far as pistols go, I had a small ParaOrdnance LDA .45 with Crimson Trace grips that was very sweet but traded it on something else years ago. I always regretted not holding onto that one.

I remember another one- Star Model S, .380- had a contoured thumb rest in the left grip panel that I fell in love with. That pistol was not accurate so I traded it, but I'd pick up another if I ever ran across one now.

I have a Remington 870 12ga. that I cut down to fit me. It has a Monte Carlo stock that I cut about an inch off of and put a thin recoil pad on. I did some other customizing to it also.

I have always wanted a p22. I bought a ruger mark 3, 22/45 instead to be more accurate. So I never bought the p22

Different animals altogether. I have always loved the Ruger MK's, my KMK10 is a sweetheart, but the P-22 has it's own niche.
The P-22 is just a nice 'lil pistol.

Sayy whaaaaat!? I don't mind the feel of a glock but nothin shoots like my colt 1911. And yes beetle, tha p-22 is a nice fitting little gun. I bought one for my wife but end up shooting it myself from time to time. She's picky on ammo though. Likes to eat the high end stuff :picard:

    OFF TOPIC!!!:Yar:

I still remember a quote..................don't remember where I heard it though........................it goes something like this...............

"Beware the man with only one gun.............he probably knows how to use it."

I love bird hunting with guys that have these "pristine" guns. They see me whip out my 20+yo beat up Benelli SBE 1 and smirk and giggle!! Until I'm dropping birds they miss etc. etc.!!! All while I'm handling the dogs........for them to kill birds also!!!
